Mission statement: For me, it is most important to learn as much as I can on the ground. This includes knowing emergency procedures well enough that you can make a quick decision and be satisfied that it was the best decision. So, you want to know what to do well enough that you can make that decision quickly without having to waste even seconds to think about it. Time is very valuable and knowing the landing pattern is essential. Pay attention to the current weather conditions and more experienced jumpers attitude and landings in current conditions to adjust your plans accordingly. Know every detail before setting foot on the aircraft. A lot of skydivers rituals consist of nothing more than gearing up and exiting when the green light comes on. You should have a check list in your mind to go over before each jump.
Skill concentrations: Concentrating on accuracy, canopy skills and belly-to-earth before moving on to other disciplines.
